Privacy Policy for Pi Tycoon

Effective date: July 30, 2026

Pi Tycoon is an Android game developed by Ashbringer. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app, why it is processed, and what choices you have.

Pi Tycoon does not operate its own user-account system or personal backend server. The developer does not directly collect names, email addresses, contact lists, precise location, or complete gameplay profiles. However, third-party services integrated into the app process certain technical, advertising, consent, purchase, crash-reporting, Play Games profile, and achievement data as described below.

1. Local game data

Game progress, settings, preferences, audio settings, unlock states, and similar gameplay data are stored locally on your device. This information is used to provide the game's functionality and is not uploaded to a server operated by the developer.

Local data remains on the device until it is deleted through the app, cleared through Android's app settings, or removed by uninstalling the app. Your device or operating-system backup provider may also back up app data according to your device and account settings.

2. Google Play Games Services

Pi Tycoon uses Google Play Games Services to authenticate a player's Play Games profile and provide achievements. Authentication may occur automatically when the app starts. When a qualifying achievement is earned locally, the app sends the corresponding achievement identifier and unlock status to Google so that the achievement can be associated with the player's Play Games profile.

Google Play Games Services may process a Play Games player identifier, gamer identity information such as gamer name and avatar, achievement and experience-point data, and technical analytics or diagnostics used to operate and improve the service. Depending on the player's Play Games profile visibility settings, achievements and certain gaming activity may be visible to other users.

Pi Tycoon does not use Play Games Services as a developer-operated account system and does not upload the complete local save file, current Insight balance, purchased mathematicians, settings, or other detailed local progression to Google Play Games. Only the Play Games authentication and achievement features described above are used.

Players can manage Play Games profile visibility and other Play Games privacy settings through Google Play. They can also delete Play Games data for Pi Tycoon or delete their Play Games profile using Google's account and Play Games data controls.

3. Advertising

Pi Tycoon uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements, including banner and rewarded advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may automatically process information such as:

This information may be used for delivering ads, measuring ad performance, limiting repeated ads, preventing fraud and abuse, and, where permitted by your choices and applicable law, personalizing advertisements.

4. Consent and privacy choices

Pi Tycoon uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising-related privacy choices where required. Depending on your region and the choices available to you, you may be able to consent to or reject certain advertising purposes, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or choose between personalized and non-personalized advertising.

Consent and privacy choices may be stored on your device and communicated to Google and participating advertising providers so that ad requests can respect those choices. Where the app provides a privacy-options entry in its settings or consent screen, you can use it to review or change your advertising choices. You can also reset or delete the Android advertising ID through your device's privacy settings.

5. Crash reporting

Pi Tycoon uses Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to identify crashes, application not responding events, and other technical errors. Crashlytics may automatically process:

This information is used solely to monitor app stability, investigate defects, and improve Pi Tycoon. The developer does not intentionally attach names, email addresses, account profiles, or gameplay histories to Crashlytics reports. Crashlytics data is processed on Google's infrastructure and may be processed outside your country of residence.

According to Firebase's published service information, Crashlytics generally keeps crash stack traces and associated installation identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems.

6. Analytics

Pi Tycoon does not use a separate general-purpose analytics service to build developer-controlled profiles of how individual users play the game. Nevertheless, the Google Mobile Ads SDK processes interaction and measurement data for advertising purposes, Firebase Crashlytics processes technical session and stability data, and the Google Play Games Services SDK processes service analytics and diagnostics as described above.

7. In-app purchases

Optional purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and account information required to complete the transaction under its own privacy policy. The developer does not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details. The app receives limited purchase data, such as the purchased product, purchase status, and entitlement information, in order to provide or restore the purchased feature. Pi Tycoon does not send this purchase information to a backend server operated by the developer.

8. Sharing data with third parties

The developer does not sell personal data. Data is shared or processed only as necessary for the third-party services described in this policy, primarily Google AdMob, Google's advertising partners, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Billing, and Google Play Games Services. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Data security

Third-party service data is transmitted using encrypted network connections. Google states that Play Games Services data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and Firebase states that Crashlytics data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal data, including rights to access, deletion, correction, restriction, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. Because Pi Tycoon does not use developer-operated accounts and most transmitted data is held under pseudonymous identifiers by Google services, the developer may need additional technical information to identify a relevant record.

You can delete local game data through the app or Android settings, uninstall the app, manage advertising consent through the available privacy-options screen, and manage the Android advertising ID in your device settings. You can manage Play Games profile visibility, choose the Play Games account used by supported games, and delete Pi Tycoon's Play Games data through Google's Play Games data controls. You may also contact the developer using the address below. Users in the European Economic Area may lodge a complaint with their competent data-protection authority.
